‘Blessed is the hand that giveth , give and it shall be given unto you a good measure, pressed down shaken together and running over’ Fola Moya is a non profit making organisation for the elderly, located Lenyenye township in the Lenyenye township. The old people’s home has been operating since 2012.

One of the vision of the old people’s home is to help the elderly live positively in every community,it aims to feed and provide for the elderly, it also seeks to offer emotional support , therautapic support as well as giving the elderly recreational activities.

from the onset of the Fola Moya old people’s home , the project has faced many problems in looking after the elderly.These challenges have come in form of lack of funds to sustain the project, lack of proper food for the elderly, shortage of clothing and other necessary items needed for the well being of a human being.

 

 

These challenges have seen the Fola Moya home of the elderly failing to provide adequate food and support for the elderly and also failing to accomodate more people.

 

Initiatives to support this project have been underway, residents of the surrounding communities have also helped in the running and donating most of the basic commodities for the Fola Moya project. Requests are still up and the citizens of Zimbabwe have been urged to support the home of the elderly with anything they have.
